WELCOME TO MAINE HAVEN CATTERY
Exceptional Exotics, We offer both Shorthair and Longhair Cats and Kittens, Thoughtfully Bred in Maine
CFA-registered Exotics raised with care, purpose, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
Welcome to Maine Haven Cattery, a small, family operated cattery in Lincoln, Maine, specializing in beautiful, high-quality Exotic cats.
Our breeding program is built around a simple philosophy: quality matters.
We carefully select our cats with an emphasis on health, temperament, breed type, structure, and beauty. Our breeding decisions are made with the long-term wellbeing of the breed in mind.
As a CFA-registered cattery, we are committed to breeding Exotics that reflect the distinctive qualities of this remarkable breed while giving each kitten the individual care and attention they deserve.
The Exotic Shorthair
With their round faces, expressive eyes, substantial build, and signature plush coats, Exotic Shorthairs have an unmistakable presence.
Often described as the short-coated counterpart to the Persian, the Exotic combines beautiful Persian type with a dense, luxurious coat that is easier to maintain. They are known for their sweet, affectionate personalities and their ability to become deeply devoted companions.
But at Maine Haven Cattery, we believe there is much more to an exceptional Exotic than a beautiful face.
We strive to produce kittens with excellent breed type, sound structure, wonderful temperaments, and the potential to become outstanding companions.
Bred for Quality. Raised With Care.
Every litter is thoughtfully planned.
Our breeding cats are health tested, carefully selected, and paired with purpose. We consider pedigrees, conformation, temperament, and the qualities each pairing can contribute to the next generation.
Our kittens are raised with hands-on care in a nurturing environment where their health, development, and individual personalities can be closely observed.
Finding the Right Home Matters
Bringing an Exotic into your family is a significant commitment, and choosing the right breeder is an important part of that decision.
At Maine Haven Cattery, we are equally selective about where our kittens go.
Our kittens are placed through a strict approval process.
We take the time to get to know prospective families, answer questions, discuss the needs of the breed, and determine whether a particular kitten is the right fit for your home and lifestyle.
This process isn't designed to make things difficult. It is designed to protect our kittens and help create successful, lifelong placements.
We are looking for families who understand that purchasing a high-quality, responsibly bred Exotic is a commitment that extends far beyond bringing home an adorable kitten.
Companion, Lifelong Family Member.
Every Maine Haven kitten has its own personality and potential.
Some kittens may be placed as cherished companion cats, while select kittens may be considered for breeding by catteries( Call or message for breeding requirements) based on their individual development pedigree.
If you are searching for a devoted companion, we believe the process should be personal, transparent, and centered on finding the right match.

Testimonials
“ the best cats I have ever had :)
we have 2 kitties we have gotten from Frank… the first kitten we named muffin man -super sweet, loves to cuddle and purr, and then we got another one because we loved him so much!! pumpkin is so chill I can’t even believe it! We have 3 little kids and they are so good with them as well.
Coming up to getting each kitten, Frank was a great communicator, sent pictures of the kittens weekly to update us on our babies, and made it easy to arrange to pick them up when the time came.
He brought all the needed paperwork for the kitties next vet visit and what vaccines they had had already, and gave a little baby blankie and kitty litter and food sample in a bag which I thought was really sweet!
